Ron served for 20 years as a Senior Consultant & Principal at the international consulting firm Marts&Lundy before transitioning to Of Counsel status in 2023. He launched Arena Partners that same year. This is his second startup, following his role as founder of Arena Communications in 1992, a full-service agency dedicated to the nonprofit sector.

At Marts&Lundy, Ron oversaw the firm’s Communications practice, which included an award-winning team of strategists, writers, designers and filmmakers. He led teams that provided a range of marketing and communication services for national and international clients.

Ron has more than 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and is recognized as a national expert on campaign messaging and branding. He has worked with well over 200 clients, supporting campaigns with goals ranging from $10 million to several $1 billion-plus initiatives. He brings specialized expertise to higher education, healthcare, arts and culture and conservation clients. 

Ron has been a frequent speaker at CASE conferences over the years. He is active in his local community as a member of the Board of Directors of the historic Colonial Theatre, a film and performing arts center in the Greater Philadelphia area. He also chairs the theatre’s fund development committee.

Ron lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with his wife and their very old and stubborn dog.
